Two Different Itineraries Along a Road Less Traveled

Iceland might get a lot of hype (and lots of visitors) for good reason.  We love it and can't wait to go back for the third time!  But in Canada's easternmost wilderness, there lies a timeless landscape where ancient Viking settlements and dramatic coastline dotted with icebergs.

Newfoundland is a tapestry woven of indescribable natural beauty and a remarkable history.  Rich wildlife inhabit the island from puffins to bears; migrating whales to caribou. Topping it all off is its rich fiber arts history including tartans, weaving, basket making, rug hooking and a cottage knitting industry founded in 1920 comprised of 175 knitters and weavers.

Join us as we explore the hidden corners of this fascinating island paradise.
