Come and immerse yourself in the color and creativity of the SAORI way of weaving.  "There are no rules, no mistakes, only the joy of creating with fiber."  Well known throughout Canada as an artist sanctuary and the Jewel of the Canadian West Coast, Salt Spring Island, the largest of British Coumbia's Gulf Islands.  Referred to by the locals as the "Sheep Tour," one can visit over 30 home studios of weavers, potters, sculptors, painters and photographers.  Postcard perfect, much of the island is an unspoiled paradise.  During our 3 day SAORI Weaving Workshop with Terri Bibby, we will set up our looms outside each day where the natural beauty will be our muse.  The trip includes a full day exploration of this Island of Artists along with a visit to a spinning mill as well as the Saturday Island Market featuring internationally aclaimed artists.
